Kate has been a journalist for 25 years working for The Financial Times, The Independent, The Guardian and The Daily Mail as well as writing for various glossy magazines. Kate founded the award winning, Mad about the House blog in 2012, which is currently ranked the No 1 UK Interiors Blog. In early 2017, Kate's Instagram account was named as one of the top 10 best interiors accounts to follow by British Vogue (she currently has over 50k followers) and her book, Shades of Grey was published in 2016. Kate is currently working on her second! When not writing and blogging, she advises clients on styling and sourcing, and wrangles two teenage sons and a diva cat.
Fiona set up her own studio, Fiona Duke Interiors in 2014. She is a firm believer that great interior design really can change the way you feel about your home and ultimately make you happier. Therefore, client needs and desires are always central to all of Fiona's designs, making sure every design is as individual as each of her clients. In August 2017, Fiona co-founded the Interior Design Collective (IDC) alongside Karen Knox of Making Spaces, another interior design creative based in Leeds. The IDC celebrates and connects like minded designers to provide accessible, client-led design services across the UK.
Jade Maria offers a wide range of interior design services for both the residential and commercial market, including project management. E-design services, colour advice and a bespoke art service is also available to clients depending on their respective needs. Jade has also recently launched a wallpaper collection which includes fantastic use of pattern and colour, with many designs taking inspiration from the 60's and 70's.
