Couldn’t resisted whipping up a quick living room design using a beautiful vintage styled, mustard sofa from @slf24_sofas Beautiful detail from the legs to the ribbed aesthetic on the backrest. Very elegant!

I’ve made everything around this sofa very contemporary so that it doesn’t become a love letter to all things Art Deco.

Teal, punchy light blues, pinks and black accents make this much more ‘boho’ affair and I think it looks fab!

Lots of greenery and a patterned rug would finish it off beautifully 🙂

When creating mood boards of this nature always start with your hero product (in this instance, the sofa) and build everything around it.

Gah! There’s always a handle in the background, right?!

Just pretend you can’t see it! Ok?! Much nicer to have a candid snap anyway, than one that’s ridiculously posed!

A rare day where the brows are tamed, the glasses are removed and the Smokey eye makes an appearance.

Making an effort these days seems like such a challenge, especially when 2/3 of your face is covered with a damn mask but what’s the alternative?!

Decided to show my face on the grid today! It’s a bun day, where I need fuss-free hair and lots of snacks to keep me fuelled for a long weekend of work.

Why do I always underestimate how long it’s going to take to complete a project?! EVERY TIME.

Without a doubt, one of the nicest photos I’ve ever taken of my apartment to date! 🙂 This also happens to be the nicer end! The other side has a 10 year old kitchen and an eyesore of a home office!

Seeing this snapshot of my beautiful living area makes me wanna rip out my kitchen: STAT!

I have such a bright home due to the amount of glass in my apartment and bright, sunny days can really transform your interior especially when taking photos!

This pic was taken using my new iPhone 11 and I’m so impressed with the photo/video quality! What I noticed in particular was that the windows weren’t overexposed!

I’m going to post an unboxing of the iPhone soon! Then I’m going to post a review after a month or two of using it.

I might even provide tips on how to get more Insta worthy interior shots. As Interior Designers you should be trying to achieve the best shots you can for your online content; it’s crucial nowadays in terms of marketing and engagement and a decent quality camera phone is half the battle!

I was inspired to take a closer look at a few @ninacampbellltd fabrics this week due to @jennybondinteriors doing her remnants sale on Stories! Such beautiful patterns and colourways in Nina’s collections.

I saw the the Ashdown fabric collection by Nina Campbell and decided to put it on a cushion, et voila, before you know it a design scheme was born!
